The venue for this wedding was NEO wine farm in Wellington on the 12th February this year – an exquisite setting at the foot of the Bainskloof pass.

For this particular wedding, the groom had a playlist for us of Blink 182 – for one hour! Apart from a gig where Palm Strings learned a string (no pun intended) of Bollywood songs, they haven’t ever spent so much time preparing for one wedding. Palm Strings was the ‘warm-up band’ so to speak, playing on the stoep for the arrival of the guests, setting the tone for the afternoon. It was incredibly windy, as it always is when music has to be used!
