The Duo
Mike Hoole and Titia Blake, resident musicians in the departure lounge at Rovos Rail, have been delighting everyone with their music since they teemed up in 1997. They are on the preferred suppliers list of every major Hotel in the Western Cape. Using a battery powered PA they are adaptable and can play in remote places such as a rocky outcrop in Bushman’s Kloof, a secluded beach along the West Coast, a yacht moored outside Clifton beach…as well as intimate venues such as the Fynbos Gardens at the 12 Apostles Hotel or the private dining room on top of the Westin Grand. They are adept at creating the right atmosphere to suit the occasion.

Palm Strings Duo offer a full range of sound equipment which include both standard and battery powered PA systems. The enormous benefit of this being that all ceremonies have the flexibility of being conducted anywhere!
The Palm Strings Duo has become associated with weddings throughout the Western Cape. Titia and Michael have been playing together for many years & have a wealth of information to share with you.
